Lynda Poole Prioleau
Having started sewing around the age of seven, Lynda is a
fiber artist who focuses on 3-D fiber sculptures, wall quilts
and funky wearables. She loves working with fabric of all
kinds, beads and found objects. Many of her art pieces contain
odd ball “art” objects such as bottle caps, shingles
and old wire and tubing. The unknown element of art is what
excites Lynda most. It’s most fun when she starts to
dye fabric without really knowing what the end product might
be. Even more fun is the discovery of some old throw away
object that can be incorporated into her quilts or fiber.
She finds great treasures at the local thrift stores and is
always up for a trip to a yard or estate sale. The possibilities
are endless and always a wonderful surprise.
